Veluwezoom National Park covers over 5,000 hectares and is part of the Veluwe, a large, contiguous nature reserve. It boasts untouched nature with forests, moors, sand drifts and country estates. The park is home to many hills and beautiful views.

Waterfalls of Loenen

Within walking distance of the villa are the waterfalls of Loenen. With a drop of no less than 15 m, the Vrijenbergerspreng near Loenen on the Veluwe is the highest waterfall in the Netherlands.

Het Loo Palace

The Loo Palace exudes the atmosphere and history of the Royal Family. It was the favourite palace of King and Stadtholder William III and Queen Wilhelmina. Deventer

Deventer is an ancient Hanseatic city, situated on the river IJssel, with a wonderful history. And you can truly see that history everywhere! Magnificent monuments, beautiful squares, old museums, but also plenty to do for those who like shopping or enjoying a cosy café or restaurant.

Zwolle

The Hanseatic city of Zwolle is definitely worth a visit. You definitely need multiple days for this excursion, because one day is not just enough to experience the city. Zwolle has an old city centre with many attractions, such as Museum de Fundatie and bookstore Waanders in de Broeren, restaurants renowned for their culinary delights such as De Librije, cosy terraces and pubs. Zwolle has a lively city centre with hospitable shops and, of course, plenty of opportunities for an evening out on the town.

Zutphen

Historic buildings, courtyards where time has stood still, unique boutiques and specialty shops and plenty of culture. In the atmospheric Hanseatic city of Zutphen, you will find everything you need for a wonderful day out or a relaxing weekend away. For example, visit the Zutphen Museums or the Walburgis Church, browse around in the shopping streets and enjoy a well-earned snack and drink on one of the cosy terraces.

And did you know that Zutphen lies right next to the river IJssel, on the edge of both the Veluwe and the Achterhoek? That makes Zutphen the ideal starting point for many wonderful cycling and walking tours.
